Welcome to the Glenwood Equestrian Center!
GEC is a completely renovated equestrian training facility and
boarding stable located in scenic Scotts Valley, minutes from Hwy 17
and Santa Cruz. Our focus is training horse and rider in Jumping and Dressage.
Jumping/Eventing

Dee White is our Hunter/Jumper and Eventing
trainer. Her experience includes riding and training through Intermediate Level Eventing, Level 5 Jumpers
and Second Level Dressage. Dee employs gymnastics and combined training techniques designed to develop the
individual skills of each horse and rider. As an all around horsewoman, Dee stresses that all of her horses
have sound ground manners as well as a strong foundation for riding and training.

Dressage
Jiji Mellon, our Dressage instructor and 'L' judge, has
been teaching at GEC for over more than two years. Jiji has shown through Prix St. George level and continues her own training
by taking clinics from internationally ranked dressage instructors. She emphasizes safe, effective riding,
through correct position and aids, to help riders get the best out of their horses. Jiji enjoys working with
all ages and abilities.

Lessons and Training
At GEC, we emphasize a solid foundation and work with our students to achieve their goals in a safe, fun environment.
Children and adults, from beginners to experienced show riders, are welcome. We have school horses for lessons, or you can use your own. Trailer-ins are welcome (for a fee). We also provide training for horses.

Horse Boarding
We are a 22-horse facility and offer stalls with and without paddocks.
